Fortnite update brings new balance changes to the game (April 15)

A new Fortnite update has been released today (April 15th) for all platforms, which includes PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and Mobile.

Epic Games Fortnite Status account on Twitter has also given plenty of info about the new update and what it's changed within the game.

New balance changes have arrived!" announced the Twitter account.

The new changes have made the following improvements:

  • Doubled Crafting Parts in floor loot stacks
  • Makeshift AR & Revolver accuracy
  • Bow headshot dmg and arrow speed
  • Recycler junk bomb speed
  • Primal Pistol dmg and fire rate
  • Stats for all SMGs

A secondary follow up tweet also announced that the team has equalized Primal and Classic weapon drop rates.

So from now on they'll be more evenly spread out alongside Makeshift weapons.

This comes also on the day that PC players received a new maintenance update that improves stability, as well as fixing the issue with accessing the map in replays.
