Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6: XP Coins And Everything We Know

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 is set for 12 weeks of fun with plenty of XP opportunities along the way.

For the uninformed, Epic has placed a collection of coins around the map that grant masses of XP for just exploring and collecting them.

These are released alongside weekly challenges.

They aren't always easy to find and if you're trying to rapidly catch up on your Battle Pass, it's a great way to get ahead.

Unfortunately, Epic seems to have forgotten to include them this season!

Here's what we know about XP Coins in Fortnite Season 6.

Season 6 Weekly XP Coins Details

The coins usually release at 2PM GMT every week.

Like Season 5, the new season has not begun with XP Coins.

But Epic Games decided to reinstate them half-way through the season, granting players 9 weeks of XP coin hunting.

Epic claimed there were so much XP opportunities last season that they must have felt there was no reason to include them.

Perhaps they felt the same this season and have adjusted the XP scores to compensate for the lack of coins.

Here's what you will usually encounter on a weekly basis:

Purple coins dish out 10,000 XP, Blue coins award 6,500 XP, Green coins grant 5,000 XP and Gold coins drop 15,000 XP.

In total, there is roughly 74,500 XP up for grabs JUST for playing the game.

The best thing to do is load into team rumble games to be able to collect a number of these quickly.

These coins do not disappear if you do not collect them in a week.

As we're not sure what Epic are planning to do with XP Coins yet, it's hard to say
