How to get into Fortnite bot lobbies
It may come as bad news to Fortnite players looking to scoop up some easier victories, but there isn't a straightforward way to get into bot lobbies. Because the game operates via skill-based matchmaking, the only way to do it is to simply perform much worse in-game.
Therefore, you could technically go AFK in matches to die early and lower your skill level, but it doesn't seem worth it for the amount of time it would take - and the risk of getting in trouble for reverse boosting.
Can you turn off skill-based matchmaking in Fortnite?
Unfortunately, there is no possible way to turn off SBMM within Fortnite.
This has been consistent across the game since they implemented SBMM back in previous seasons.
Just a reminder, Fortnite takes the following into consideration when putting you into a lobby.
- Win %
So, the better you perform over the course of a few Fortnite matches, the higher your SBMM will rise. Therefore, if you are looking to get into 'bot' lobbies; then you are going to need to perform worse than usual over multiple days. This may be infuriating to some of you, but it can lead to some easier matches in the long run!
