Somehow, it is that time already. Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 is here, with an event having occurred just prior. So that you know what to expect from the new season, we've put together what we know about the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 weapons, including the new ones and those that are being vaulted.
The weapons change really frequently in Fortnite, with new themed weapons arriving at the start of seasons and guns entering or exiting the vault throughout the season. At the start of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3, we've got a long list of official changes.
If you're looking for more on the new season, we also have a larger piece on everything you need to know about Season 3, a hub focusing on the live event that kicked it all off, and a piece looking at the leaked batttle pass.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 Start Date
Thankfully, the wait until Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 begins is over. Since the Collision event, which is the first event for a couple of seasons, took place on June 4, the new season started just a few hours later.
As such, Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 is fully live now, after a few hours of downtime.
While Epic has released some teases about the event by sending DMs to popular Fortnite influencers, they've generally stayed quite tight-lipped about the new season.
However, the main leak that has surfaced supposedly reveals all of the contents of the new battle pass. If it's to be believed, not only will we be getting more Star Wars content, but we may also see Indiana Jones join Epic Games' world.
In terms of weapons, we've already been treated to most you'd expect from Star Wars, but maybe Indy's iconic whip could be added in some way.
Full Vaulted and Unvaulted Weapons List
That brings us on to what a lot of Fortnite players will be interested in come the dropping of the new season's update: which Season 3 weapons will be vaulted, and which past weapons will be unvaulted.
There are three new weapons in Fortnite Season 3, which are as follows. There's a range of snipers, assault rifles, and shotguns in there, so there's something for everyone.
- Hammer Assault Rifle
- DMR Sniper
- Two-Shot Shotgun
The following weapons were previously in the rotation until this season, but are now vaulted. They could return at some point later in the season, but for now they're gone.
- Drum Shotgun
- Ranger Shotgun
- Hunter Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle
- MK-Seven Assault Rifle
At the start of Chapter 3 Season 3, only one weapon has been taken out of the Fortnite vault and placed back in rotation. That's the Heavy Assault Rifle, which you'll now be able to find across the island.
That's it for your look at all the new, returning, and absent weapons in the new season of Fortnite. While you're here, feel free to check out what we know about the June Fortnite Crew Pack. That's out now!
