With so many changes from the original, players have been wondering how fan-favourite characters like Carbuncle, Cactuar, or a Chocobo Chick will be making an appearance.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake: How to unlock Carbuncle, Cactuar, and Chocobo Chick

All three of these summons are offered as preorder bonuses, meaning you won't be able to add them to your repertoire through standard gameplay.

If you pre-order any version of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, you'll get the Chocobo Chick.

If you grab the digital deluxe edition or grab the already sold out 1st Class Edition, you'll get access to Carbuncle.

Finally, the Cactuar is available if you pick up the deluxe, digital deluxe, or 1st Class Editions.
