FIFA 22: Ryan Reynolds' Wrexham AFC To Feature

The story of Wrexham AFC is quite remarkable.

The National League side from North Wales have become the most talked about club in Hollywood over the last 12 months, after being purchased by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

And their rise to stardom will take a diversion to the Esports world later this month, as it has been revealed that they will feature in FIFA 22.

"We're In The Game"

The news of Wrexham's FIFA arrival came in typical Hollywood style.

Reynolds' and McElhenney made the announcement themselves, posting a short video message to Wrexham's social media accounts confirming EA Sports' coup.

Their ratings are unlikely to be anything to write home about, but that won't stop them from being one of the most popular clubs in FIFA 22.

Rest of the World

Unfortuantely, if you were hoping to recreate a battle for the ages between Wrexham A.F.C and current Conference leaders Dagenham & Redbridge, you will be left disappointed.

The league itself will not feature in the game, with Wrexham instead being found in the Rest of the World category.

Their inclusion means that they will be available to select in both Kick-Off and Online Seasons, whilst you will be able to use them in Career Mode by switching them into a division of your choice.

Wrexham's road to the Premier League has begun in real life, but could you get them there quicker in FIFA 22?
