There was never really much doubting this one.

For the first time in FIFA Ultimate Team history, Lionel Messi will not be a Barcelona player. The Argentine has traded the Camp Nou for the Parc de Princes in a bid to land the Ligue 1 side their first ever UEFA Champions League crown.

He will be the top-rated player in FIFA 22, though he will feature as a OTW player through the opening fortnight.

Giorginio Wijnaldum

The second PSG star to feature is Dutch midfielder Giorginio Wijnaldum.

The former Liverpool man looked destined for Barcelona before a last minute change of heart saw the Oranje captain opt for PSG instead.

His overall hasn't been officially confirmed as of yet, although we are anticipating somewhere in the reigion of 85/86.

Achraf Hakimi

The third and final PSG player to feature in the Team 1 release will be Moroccan fullback, Achraf Hakimi.

The 22-year-old has enjoyed a fine start to life in Paris, with PSG winning all of their games since his arrival.

Similarly to Wijnaldum, there has been no official rating reveal for Hakimi, who we expect to begin FIFA 22 as an 83/84 OVR.
