FIFA 22 is fast approaching, which means it's time to start looking at who will be ruling the roost on the ratings front.
The Ligue 1 - and PSG in particular - are sure to be heavily selected in both the Kick-Off and Online Seasons, but who will lead the way in terms of ratings?
Here are our predictions.
1. Lionel Messi (93 OVR)
PSG will dominate these ratings, there is no doubt about that, and it's their star summer acquisition who should lead the ratings for the French top flight.
Lionel Messi was at the top of his game over the course of the last 12 months, and though there are some big performers in the chasing pack, we are backing the Argentine to top the rankings this year.
2. Neymar Jr (91 OVR)
Neymar Jr will play alongside Lionel Messi once again this season, with the two look set to form a formidable pairing on the virtual pitch too.
Neymar wasn't at his blistering best in the 2020/21 campaign, but we still expect to see him amongst the 90 club in FIFA 22. We're backing the Brazilian to remain at a 91 OVR for a second successive year.

3. Kylian Mbappe (90 OVR)
They've been dubbed the greatest front three of all time, but whether we will actually see them play together remains to be seen.
Mbappe has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent days, but whether it be the blue of Paris or the white of Madrid, we're expecting FIFA 22's cover star to jump to a 90 OVR this year.
4. Keylor Navas (88 OVR)
Many thought that Keylor Navas' days at PSG would be numbered following the arrival of Gianluigi Donnarumma, but the veteran Costa Rican has retained his number one spot thus far.
And, after impressing over the course of the last 12 months, we're expecting yet another ratings boost for the PSG stopper.
5. Sergio Ramos (88 OVR)
Sergio Ramos and Lionel Messi playing alongside one another? Never.
Well, that's exactly what we've got in Paris this season as the two El Classico rivals lineup together at the Parc de Princes. The veteran centre half will undoubtedbly sit near the top of the rankings, though we have him dropping from an 89 to an 88.
6. Angel Di Maria (87 OVR)
It should come as no shock to see this list dominated by PSG players, though it is a longstanding member of the side who we have next in our list.
Angel Di Maria has enjoyed a fine 12 months, highlighted by his Copa America winner against Brazil. He should remain an 87 OVR for the upcoming release.
7. Gianluigi Donnarumma (87 OVR)
Another player who shone on the international stage this summer was Italy's Euro hero, Ginalugi Donnarumma.
The young Italian was named the Euro 2020 Player of the Tournament after his penalty heroics against Spain and England. Pair that success with a move to PSG and we're expecting a significant ratings boost.
8. Marquinhos (87 OVR)
Marquinhos and Sergio Ramos form one of the most feared centre back parternships in Europe this season.
The Brazilian did incredibly well to fill the void left by the departing Thiago Silva last season and thus should remain amongst the go-to centre back choices for Ligue 1 this year.
9. Georginio Wijnaldum (86 OVR)
Wijnaldum's last minute change of heart saw the Netherland's captain opt for a move to Paris instead of Barcelona, we're sure he's thankful for that now!
The former Liverpool man is expected to remain similar in comparison to his FIFA 21 rating, although we expect to see a slight increase to an 86 OVR.
10. Marco Verratti (86 OVR)
It could be a FIFA first, but we expect to see the full list of Ligue 1's best players occupied by those plying their trade in Paris.
Marco Verratti is our pick for the tenth spot, retaining his 86 OVR that he was awarded at the beginning of FIFA 21.
