FIFA 22 Pro Clubs: Female Virtual Pros Confirmed

Female football has been on a significant rise in recent years, and now that is being transferred over to the game world.

We've already had the news that female squads will be arriving in Football Manager in the not too distant future, whilst EA Sports have announced that FIFA 22 will feature a lead female commentator for the first time in franchise history.

And now we've got some big news on the FIFA pitch too, with female football arriving in FIFA 22's Pro Clubs.

Female Virtual Pros Confirmed

That's right. For the first time in FIFA history, you will be able to take to the pitch as a female pro in Pro Clubs.

You can find a sneak peek at one of the female AI found within Pro Clubs below.

As you can see from the above release, the selection won't be restricted to matches with other female pros either, both female and male pros will be able to mix into one side.

The player upgrade/growth process will remain the same too, so there is no need to worry on that front. Gender doesn't matter, both male and female pros will be on a level playing field.

The Most Inclusive Edition of the FIFA Franchise To Date

Whilst we're still some way from seeing a fully fledged female offering within FIFA, there is no denying that this is a significant step in the right direction from EA Sports.

It has been dubbed "the most inclusive edition of the FIFA franchise to date" and it is hard to argue that statement.

The addition of Alex Scott to the FIFA commentary team is one that will please fans of the female and the mens game alike, with the former Lionesses' defender one of the standout pundits within the game over the course of the last 12 months.

The female game is growing exponentially on the real life pitch, and the virtual pitch is following suit.
