The FIFA 21 UEL Showdowns returned this evening.
Dzeko's side have a goal advantage heading into the second leg in Rome, but Ajax have plenty of attacking threat to cause them trouble in the second leg on Thursday.
It's finely poised, but who should you select?
The two SBC's went live in FIFA 21's Ultimate Team on Saturday, April 10th and will remain in game for five days before expiring at 6pm GMT on Thursday, April 15th.
Ratings & Upgrades
Both Dzeko and Neres have seen significant upgrades to their base cards, with Dzeko jumping to an 89 whilst Neres has been upgraded to an 88.
The winner of Thursday's tie will see their rating upgraded by +2 OVR, whilst a draw on the night will see both rewarded a +1 to the rating.
Don't forget that this Showdown is based solely on the 90-minute match, not the result of the tie.
The estimated costs for both of the SBCs are very similar.
Those on PlayStation can complete either Dzeko or Neres for around 165,000 coins, Xbox users for 155,000 coins and PC gamers can do so for 190,000 coins.
You can opt to complete both should you wish and, if you are predicting a draw, then it might not be such a bad idea to do so.
This is a tough one to call, though we are favouring the home advantage of Roma.
But with that in mind, the Italian giants would certaintly settle for a draw on the evening, thanks to their goal advantage from the first leg.
A second reminder that the upgrades are determined solely by the result of the match on the night, not who goes through.
We're predicting a 91-rated Edin Dzeko come Thursday night.
Who to Complete?
You will never have a better opportunity to get Edin Dzeko back into your FIFA Ultimate Team setup.
A monstrous +26 to the Bosnian's pace (85 OVR) has made the Roma forward more than useable and, combined with 92-rated shooting and 90-rated dribbling, the Serie A has a perfect target man.
We're backing the upgrade too, so we will be completing this Edin Dzeko SBC.
