Icon Swap Set 1 is expected to arrive any day now, and will kick off the lengthy event and set of objectives that will allow the FUT player base to work towards earning tokens that can be submitted to earn both Icon and pack rewards.
Here are our predictions for all the rewards and icon selections that could feature in Icon Swaps Set 1!

Icon Swaps Set 1 - Pack Rewards
As revealed in EA’s FUT Content Pitch Notes article in late September before the release of the game, “there will be a greater mix between ICON and pack rewards, with an increased number of pack rewards.”
Furthermore, EA also revealed that “packs rewards will be made available at lower Player Token values to allow more players to engage with the program.”
Given that the selection will be heavily geared towards higher level icons at higher token rewards, we predict that Icon Swaps Set 1 will feature the following rewards:
- 1 Token - 7.5k Premium Gold Pack
- 2 Tokens - 15k Jumbo Premium Gold Pack
- 4 Tokens - 25k Premium Gold Players Pack
- 5 Tokens - 35k Mega Pack
- 6 Tokens - 50k Rare Players Pack
- 8 Tokens - 100k Jumbo Rare Players Pack
- 9 Tokens - Base Icon Pack
- 18 Tokens - Middle Icon Pack
Icon Swaps Set 1 - Icon Rewards
Given that this is the first Icon Swaps set of the year, don’t be expecting too many incredible icons to be available, with the best icons costing a significant amount of tokens and time to obtain.
EA previously revealed that ‘no specific version of an ICON (e.g. Base) released through an SBC will be released again through ICON Swaps, and vice versa.’
What this will mean, is that despite having Icon SBC versions of the likes of Zanetti, Figo, Van der Sar, Hernandez etc, we’ll still be able to see them released via Icon Swaps, as long as the versions available are different to the version released in SBCs.
