With FIFA 21 launching it's time to put your skills to the test against friends and rivals alike.

As you may expect, the biggest part of FIFA is shooting and every year there's a sure fire way to bag goals.

Usually, the Finesse shot is the most potent type of shot in the game.

If you're struggling to execute the Finesse Shot, here's how to do it.

How To Do A Finesse Shot In FIFA 21

In order to do a Finesse Shot, you will need to push the following buttons:

• PlayStation: R1 + O (Classic)
• Xbox: RB + B (Classic)

The finesse shot is a more controller form of shooting usually executed with the side of the player's foot.

This will provide your shot with more accuracy and curve, leading to more finishes hitting the corners of the goal.

You should use the finesse shot when you're inside the box as this will give you the best opportuntiy of scoring. If you opt to drill the ball at close range, it will lack the accuracy needed to hit the corners.

If you're aiming for the bottom corners, you'll want to add just 1-1.5 bars of power. If you're looking for the top corners, you should add between 2-3 bars.

It's far easier to tap the shoot button for a short period of time to make sure it's on target.

When shooting make sure you create an angle for the far past and allow your player to open the body, this will give you the best chance of putting it away and add much more curve to the shot.

Try not to aim at the near post as your player will not get the same accuracy and it will usually miss.
