Get ready FIFA 19 fans!

We are announcing today the Gfinity FUT Champions Cup December, part of the EA SPORTS™ FIFA 19Global Series! The event, to be held at the Gfinity Esports Arena in London from 14th-16th December, forms part of the journey players will take on the Road to the FIFA eWorld Cup 2019. All the action will be streamed live via both Gfinity and EA SPORTS FIFA channels, with Twitch viewership rewards available during the weekend for players who link their EA and Twitch accounts on that platform.

The tournament will feature 64 of the world’s top FIFA 19 players who have qualified via the in-game online competitions during November. From the UK’s finest, including FUT Champions Cup November winner Donovan ‘F2Tekkz’ Hunt, to last year’s eWorld Cup winner Falcon MSdosary, the last major event of the year is guaranteed to be competitive with $100,000 total prize pool and 1500 points for the winner which go towards qualification to the eWorld Cup Final held in summer 2019.

The FUT Champions Cup December extends Gfinity’s strong relationship with competitive FIFA, having recently been appointed Tournament Operator for the inaugural ePremier League. That tournament will feature esports players from all 20 clubs with registration now open for online qualifications.  This will be followed by individual club tournaments in January through March and live finals kicking-off on March 28-29th 2019.
