The Fallout show has seen mega success on Amazon Prime. Our Fallout TV series review praised the show for its faithfulness to the long-running RPG series, but also its ability to tell an original story set within the post-apocalyptic America. However, while Amazon has renewed Fallout for a second season, another series should get an equally great adaptation... Titanfall.

Launching as an Xbox console exclusive, Titanfall didn't find huge success with the first entry. However, despite the second game launching in a crowded FPS space against Call of Duty and Battlefield's latest entries at the time, Titanfall 2 has become a cult hit, earning a coveted spot in many gamers' best FPS games lists.

Not only did the sequel offer a campaign mode, something missing from its predecessor, but the campaign was actually really good. The sub 10-hour narrative saw yourself forming a relationship with a Titan called BT-7274, or BT for short. Despite the robotic mech being a chassis for some exciting gameplay, it was also easy to how Respawn could create something mechanical to be almost human-like.

If Fallout can create a successful adaptation, keeping things faithful to the lore by adding a canon entry into the Fallout franchise, while also adding its own value to the universe, Titanfall deserves the same. In a Pacific Rim-meets-Pixar style way, a Titanfall TV series could further push the relationship between a human and their Titan, humanizing the weaponized robot.

We could finally get a bit more lore and detail from the various factions from Titanfall's universe, while also adding some much-needed excitement. Also, one of Titanfall 2's later missions sees you phase between two time periods, so something similar could be done in the TV series for an exciting filler episode.

While Apex Legends seems to be Respawn Entertainment's prize pig right now, the Titanfall series deserves some love. A Titanfall 3 is seeming less likely with every passing year, but I think the series deserves more love. Especially after how popular the story mode of Titanfall 2 has been since it released back in 2016.

I've been a very vocal and passionate fan of the series since its debut back in 2014, when I first purchased an Xbox One that was bundled with the game and a copy of the first Destiny. Despite seeming like a basic FPS game with giant mechs, Titanfall could be a great TV adaptation that would serve those looking for sci-fi action, as well as deep, meaningful relationships between characters you wouldn't expect.

Hell, if James Cameron's Avatar can make me care about blue aliens, Titanfall can make me care about... well, Titans.
