Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon – Classic Edition ESRB Rated, Prompting Standalone Release Speculation

While we know that the Blood Dragon remaster is included as part of Far Cry 6's season pass, it seems the game could be arriving on its own, too.

Ubisoft has yet to confirm this, though, but there is a precedent - Far Cry 5's Season Pass added Far Cry 3 Classic, a similar port of the 2012 instalment.

That release ended up shipping for $20 as a standalone product, too, meaning we could be in for a similar story with Rex "Power" Colt's adventure.

As for the rest of Far Cry 6's season pass, it's shaping up to be a little unorthodox, to say the least. Players will be able to revisit villains from prior games, only this time they'll be playable protagonists – so if you've missed Vaas, Pagan Minh, or Joseph Seed, prepare to be reacquainted.

Far Cry 6 launches on October 7th.
