It looks like Forza studio Turn 10 is helping out on Fable

As reported by VGC, a Turn 10 dev seems to have let slip that the Forza Motorsport studio’s helping out with the new Fable.

The project’s currently in development at Forza Horizon studio Playground Games, which Microsoft acquired in 2018.

According to the report, Turn 10 design architect Bill Giese at one point had two separate projects listed on his LinkedIn profile: Forza and Fable. (Like Fable, a new Forza Motorsport reboot is also in the works.)

An older version of Giese’s Twitter profile read: “Design architect at Turn 10 Studios. Gamer and dad. Working on Fable.”

Microsoft describes the next installment of Fable as “a new beginning for the legendary franchise.”

We don’t know much else about the game just yet. It features fairies, magic, and some sort of fantasy kingdom — and emphasis will be placed on the player’s own “story.”

The action RPG is set to launch on Xbox Series X/S and Windows 10, allowing players to “explore a land of fantastical creatures and wondrous places.”

No release date has been announced yet.

“The new Forza Motorsport, currently in early development, is a reimagining of the series. We are taking what has made Forza Motorsport great over the past 15 years and pairing it with new game concepts and new technologies,” Microsoft said in July.

“With the new Forza Motorsport, ray tracing is coming to ForzaTech; you will see a dynamic world in 4K, 60 fps, that is connected and dynamic.”
