Nintendo has finally announced how it plans to celebrate Mario's 35th Anniversary.
Old classics are being remastered. Super Mario 3D All-Stars will feature Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy, as well as Super Mario 3D World being re-released with new content for Nintendo Switch.
As apart of this special announcement we also got news of a brand new title.
Super Mario Bros. 35 is a unique game coming soon!

What Is It?
This is by far the most unique game Nintendo announced today.
Super Mario Bros. 35 is a special game that is a competitive online battle royale between you and 34 other players.
Once you are eliminated during the match you will be sent to another match instantly!
It is also a 2D battle royale! So it may be a bit tricky for players to get used to this at first.
Release Date
Super Mario Bros. 35 is set to release on October 1st, 2020!

Online?
Since this is an online game, you are going to need to purchase or already have a Nintendo Switch Online account!
Play As Luigi!
Turns out Luigi will actually be a playable character in Super Mario Bros. 35.
Players did a bit of digging and found out the requirements to play as Mario's brother.
You'll have to complete every stage of the game at least once.
When that's done simply hold down L when loading into a match and you'll switch from Mario to Luigi.
