Rocket League Bursts on to Gfinity

We’re excited to introduce Rocket League to Gfinity.net

The hugely popular virtual based vehicle football simulator is set to join Gfinity’s online gaming calendar on Friday 4th September. Soccer meets driving once again in the long-awaited, physics-based multiplayer-focused sequel to Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars (wow that's quite a mouthful). The game is also cross-platform (PC and PS4).

The Rocket League cup will occur once per week, every Friday, and will feature a 3v3 variant format.

In addition to this, there will be a £300 prize pool up for grabs each week, with the breakdown split as follows:

  • 1st: £200
  • 2nd: £100

That means that in the first month we'll be paying out £1,200 to our community. To celebrate introducing a new game to Gfinity, the cup will be free to play for the whole of September and you can already sign up for your chance to prove yourself as an elite Rocket League player. This cup will be played on the Europe servers.

If you're new to the game then check it out on Green Man Gaming or the official website. Let us know in the comments if you'll be giving it a try.
