HCS London Online Cups and Roster Lock details
We’re delighted to announce that the HCS London Online Cups are now open for registration! You can find the full information of each cup, along with the times and details of the Roster Lock below.
The HCS London online cups will be split across two days. On Saturdays, there will be an open bracket and on Sundays a Legendary bracket.
On August 19th, there will be a pre-season placement cup. The results of this cup will help seed the first official online cup.
Format (Pre-Season Open Cup)
The format of the pre-season open cup will be a single elimination tournament. Once the top 16 teams have been identified, the tournament will conclude and the top 16 teams will progress to the legendary cup on the Sunday.
Format (Pre-Season Legendary Cup)
The format of the pre-season legendary cup will be a double elimination tournament, featuring a best of five series, with a best of seven grand final.
Open Cup #1
The first open cup will follow the same format as the placement cup, however, only 8 teams will progress to the Sunday legendary cup.
Legendary Cup #1
The first legendary cup will include the top 8 teams from the pre-season Legendary cup and the top 8 teams from the first open cup.
Cup #2- #4
Open Cup #2 - #4
Open Cups 2 - 4 will follow the same format as the first open cup, with the top 8 teams progressing into their respective Sunday legendary cups.
Legendary Cup #2 - #4
Legendary Cups 2 - 4 will consist of the top 8 teams from the previous weeks Legendary cup and the top 8 teams from that week’s respective open cup.
Rosters for HCS London will be locked-in from the start of the first pre-season cup (Saturday 19th August) till the end of the season. Captains MUST email Leagueops@Gfinity.net by 2:00pm BST on Saturday 19th August with the following information:
- Team Name
- Team Logo
- Full Names
- Player Regions
- Xbox Gamer Tags
- Gfinity.net Usernames
- Gfinity.net Team Name
- Full Name of Coach (If applicable)
- HCS London Ticket Reference Number
Any rosters not submitted by this time will not be eligible to collect seeding points for any of the online cups until they submit their roster to League Operations. Any roster changes must be approved by League Operations. If a team makes a roster change past roster lock, they will forfeit all previously acquired seeding points and must re-submit their new roster in order to collect points.
