Gfinity continues Microsoft partnership with Halo 5: Guardians esports tournament

Good news for Halo fans! Gfinity is continuing its existing agreement as a preferred event partner for Microsoft, for its forthcoming Halo World Championship Series (‘HCS’) taking place at Gfinity’s Esports Arena, London, in September 2018.

Gfinity will manage all league operations and broadcast production for the European Region as part of the global series. Microsoft will expand the European Region final with 12 teams and a bigger prize fund!

The Halo World Championship Series is a three-day EU Open LAN event which will be broadcast live from the Gfinity Esports Arena from September 14th-16th 2018. This time however, the event will be open to all competitors around the world, making HCS London 2018 the first official global open event outside of North America! HCS London will feature a prize pool of $135,000 - the biggest official prize pool ever offered for a European Halo tournament and an increase of over $100,000 on previous season’s total.

This news follows an announcement dated December 15th 2017, which documented a further extension of Gfinity’s partnership with Microsoft after organising, promoting and executing successful events for the Halo World Championship Series (“HCS”) tournament in Autumn 2017 and Winter 2017/18.
