Season 1 of Black Ops Cold War is about to get even more interesting.
New multiplayer and zombies content is on the way but we’re particularly excited for the long rumoured Dropkick multiplayer mode!
Here’s everything we know about the 6v6 game type!
Release Date
The new Sanatorium map and the new mode Dropkick will arrive on January 14!
That’s just under a week away at the time of writing!

Dropkick Details
Dropkick is a 6v6 multiplayer match that seems to be exclusive to the new Sanatorium map.
In it players will be tasked with fighting over nuclear codes, according to the official Treyarch blog.
We still don’t have any exact details but it could see players trying to take opposing team’s code carriers so that they can capture both!
Once they have them the team will probably have to go and detonate a nuclear device.

Though for now, we’ll just have to wait and see when the new mode drops in the next few days.
