PlayStation Productions Working On Ten Projects Across Film and TV

Sony's Uncharted movie is gaining momentum, but the recently established PlayStation Productions isn't stopping there.

Sony Pictures CEO Tony Vinciquerra spoke to CNBC (thanks, MediaPost) that there are no fewer than ten projects in the works.

PlayStation Productions Working On Ten Projects Across Film and TV

Those ten projects are split between three movies and seven TV shows, and all are based on PlayStation properties.

“We have no specific plan yet, but we have a program within the company called One Sony,” Vinciquerra noted.

“You’ll be seeing a lot more integration of Sony companies together.”

While we know that one of those movies is the Tom Holland Uncharted movie which is due to launch next summer, the other two are unannounced at present.

One of those could be the Metal Gear Solid movie, but given that this isn't a PlayStation property, that seems unlikely.

As for TV shows, we know that HBO and PlayStation Productions are working on a Last of Us TV show.

That means there are still six TV shows to come, and while we'd love a God Of War series, we're holding out hope for an animated show that gives Knack the credit he deserves.
