Diablo 3 Tier List (Season 25): Best Builds & Classes For Solo Greater Rift Pushing

Diablo 3 Season 25 is currently live and that means a whole new assessment of the best classes and builds to get stuck into.

Season 25 is known as 'The Lords of Hell' and whilst the new season is not due to start until Friday evening, some of the games most experienced players already have a solid handle on which builds are worth playing when it launches. That is largely thanks to the game's Diablo 3 PTR (Public Test Realm) which gives players an insight into the upcoming buffs and nerfs before it hits live servers on PS4, Xbox, PC or Nintendo Switch.

In Season 25 the new Soul Shards have a big say in which classes and builds have come out on top for the new season. As you might imagine, some of the builds which have taken a dip in the tier list are mostly a result of the game removing Ethereal Weapons. Safe to say, there have been quite a few changes since Season 24.

With that in mind, let's take a look at the best builds in our Diablo 3 Season 25 Tier List.

Diablo 3 Season 25 Tier List Explained

As we mention, an upshot of the game pre-releasing the new Season build on the PTR is testing. Yes, it does allow the devs to troubleshoot some bugs and issues, but it also gives some of the community's best players a chance to thoroughly test which builds are worth using for the new season.

We normally defer to expert players like Rhykker (who is a prominent youtube and authoritative member of the Diablo 3 community) to help us get a fairly solid idea as to the Top 10 Best Builds in Diablo 3.

If you want a proper deep dive, Rhykker has pulled together a video (below) that runs the rule over the best builds and classes in Season 25 for solo greater rift pushing.

Better still, the video doesn't just outline the top 10, but also the builds which are sitting in the A-F tiers, which is around 50 different builds in total. That way you'll know which classes and builds you should be avoiding in Season 25. Although some things never change, like the fact that the Angry Chicken Witch Doctor build is never going to be worth playing.

"These are the best builds for Diablo 3 patch 2.7.2 season 25 for solo GR pushing," Rhykker's youtube description explains.

"Monk builds, barbarian builds, crusader builds, witch doctor builds, demon hunter builds, necromancer builds, wizard builds... Everything currently end-game viable, ranked in order of power."

As with all of Rhykker's Tier lists, all of the builds that have been tested are T16 (Torment 16) viable.

The video lasts around 20 minutes, so it's a lengthy watch but does provide a comprehensive overview of the full tier list for Season 25. Although you might be more interested in just the top 10, which you can skip to directly by following the link.

If you want a quick bullet point overview of the best build for each class, we've outlined that for you below. So without further ado, let's take a look at that top 10 tier list for Season 25, 'The Lords of Hell'.

Mystic Ally Inna Build
2

Akkhan Bombarbment Build
3

4
Necromancer
Legacy of Dreams Corpse Explosion Build
5

Legacy of Dreams Wave of Light Build
6

It's also worth noting that although the Aegis Of Valor Heaven's Fury Crusader Build is also considered an S Tier option in Season 25, it is not believed to be one of the top 10 builds available. This is largely due to this build being rather slow, and due to the soul shards in season 25, even some B Tier builds are capable of Greater Rifts of up to 150, so you're in some ways better picking speedier builds for Season 25.

And that's it - Good luck in Season 25, Diablo 3 fans!
