Destiny 2 "Slaying Dragons" Iron Banner Quest Guide

Iron Banner is back, but you'll need to chip away at a lengthy quest to be able to turn in your Iron Banner tokens to Lord Saladin.

"Slaying Dragons" has multiple steps, but we've got the full list below.

Destiny 2 "Slaying Dragons" Iron Banner Quest Guide

Shaped By Iron

• Defeat 30 Guardians
• Capture 10 Zones
• Get 5 Void Ability Kills

This one is nice and simple but may take a tad longer if you're not as confident in PvP.

Our advice would be to switch to your Void subclass and simply try to grenade enemies on the capture zones – hopefully when clustered together.

No Games, No Sympathy

• Complete 6 Crucible Matches
• Capture 20 Zones
• Get 25 Energy Weapon Kills

This may look like a bit of a grind, but actually, there's a good chance your initial 10 control points from step one will carry over.

Energy weapons run the gamut, but you should be able to find something you enjoy using to make this go quicker.

Paying Respects

• Defeat 100 Guardians
• Capture 30 Zones
• Get 20 Scout Rifle Kills

Time to rack up those kills, and if you're looking for a decent scout, we'd recommend going old school with the MIDA Multi-Tool.

A Tower Rebuilt

• Get 15 Super Kills
• Capture 40 Zones
• Get 15 Hand Cannon Kills

Pick your deadliest super (Titans, you might want to steer clear of stasis as it freezes enemies long enough for others to get the kill), and if you have a great hand cannon like Thorn then this will be a breeze.

Raising the Banner

• Complete 15 Crucible Matches
• Capture 50 Zones
• Perform 10 Precision Final Blows

There's a good chance you may want to switch back to your MIDA for this one, allowing you to pop heads from distance. Of course, sniper rifles are also a great option, particularly the IKELOS one that was added to the loot pool in recent weeks.

From the Mountaintop

• Speak to Lord Saladin

Now that that's done, you can turn in the huge amount of tokens you've probably earned throughout the course of this questline, and get yourself some sweet armour.
