Destiny 2 Season of the Worthy has begun, but one issue has been irritating players.
Because Seasonal Artifacts contribute to a Guardian's overall power level, players have been able to grind PVE content to boost their level in Trials of Osiris – a game mode where power levels matter.
Thankfully, Bungie is fixing this with a hotfix rolling out today.

Destiny 2 Hotfix – March 19 2020
The hotfix will disable Artifact power in any game modes where the power level is important. So your level in Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris will be solely dictated by your loadout.
The Hotfix patch notes aren't here yet, but the good news is that there will be no server downtime. We'll update this with the full notes as they arrive.
