Alienware Unveils Their NEW Aurora Desktop

If you're after epic gaming and breathtakingly stunning design, then Alienware may have exactly what you need with their latest and greatest gaming PC.

Alienware covers everything from the best gaming laptops all the way to top gaming monitors, and to coincide with their 25th Anniversary, they've shown us what's coming our way with the Alienware Aurora.

Here's a brief rundown of everything we know so far...

Air Flow Overhauls

Airflow is one of the most important parts of any gaming PC, and it seems that Alienware shares that sentiment wholeheartedly.

The Alienware Aurora's Legend 2.0 chassis gets a 10/10 in the looks department, but it's far more than that. In fact, its new open-air design increases the internal chassis volume by 50%!

And it does it without adding too much to the footprint of the PC itself.

Add this to an upgraded thermal ceiling, with up to four 120mm system fans and liquid cooling options, and the cards are very much stacked in your favour.

Enhanced Acoustics

Let's face it, nothing takes you out of the moment more than when you're gaming and it sounds like a jet is trying to take off from your desk, so anything which can reduce unwanted noise goes a long way indeed.

The good news is that with the Alienware Aurora, the improvements to its thermal architecture actually help with noise reduction too.

In fact, Alienware boasts that gen-over-gen, the new Aurora is up to 16% quieter at idle, up to 9% quieter during CPU intensive tasks, and up to 15% quieter during overclocking.

Great for keeping you immersed in the game for those quieter gaming moments.

Toolless Design

We like a bit of DIY as much as the next person...which is 'sort of' in most cases, so it's a breath of fresh air to know that this member of the Alienware family allows for toolless accessibility, but a whole lot of customisation.

And speaking of customisation, Alienware has got a first for us too.

They're offering an optional transparent panel so you can see everything going on inside the case, which when combined with a dark motherboard and AlienFX customizable lighting, should make for a seriously eye-catching machine.
