Reactor is one of the official missions in Modern Warfare 3 (2023) and is the third mission in the campaign. In the mission, you find yourself in the aftermath of Operation 627 and the Precious Cargo missions. It consists of a team of Soap, Gaz, Ghost, and Captain Price as they embark on a hazardous mission involving parachuting and intense combat.
The mission will reward the player with a "Corso Operator" once completed.

Modern Warfare 3 Reactor Rundown
In the Reactor mission, the team's objective is to take down three Makarov's Konni Group helicopters. You eliminate the nearest helicopter using your preferred method, like RPGs or explosives. The second helicopter can be dealt with similarly, and then you face the more challenging third helicopter, which patrols the skies. After handling these aerial threats, you proceed to the reactor following Laswell's guidance.
Once inside, you lose communication with Laswell, and a helicopter drops enemy soldiers and chemical weapons onto the reactor. Act swiftly to stop the chemical weapons from floating away. Unfortunately, toxic gas fills the reactor, and you must fend off enemies to escape. Heading upward helps avoid gas damage. After dealing with most threats, you grab a yellow rope to ascend to safety. The mission ends with Captain Price collapsing due to gas exposure.
After landing in the area, you aim to eliminate three helicopters that Makarov's Konni Group operated. The first helicopter is nearby, and you can choose your method to destroy it.
Proceed to the second helicopter and use your available equipment to destroy it. If you don't have an RPG, find and use C4 to create a powerful explosion.
The third helicopter is patrolling the area, requiring more strategic handling. You can attempt to evade it by maneuvering through buildings or choose a direct approach by unloading gunfire. After dealing with the aerial threat and clearing the area around the grounded helicopter, destroy it.
You can find a supply box near the third helicopter with an STB 556 equipped with a grenade launcher. Utilize it to eliminate the vehicle quickly.
Objective: Enter the Reactor
Laswell instructs all Task Force 141 members to head to the reactor after dealing with the helicopters. Proceed to the reactor and enter through a nearby airlock.
Inside, you lose signal with Laswell as another helicopter drops soldiers onto the reactor's roof. A platform containing enemies and chemical weapons is lowered. Prevent the package from floating away by eliminating the targets.
Objective: Escape from the Reactor
Despite your efforts, the release of chemical weapons results in the reactor filling with toxic gas. Defend against enemies trying to stop your escape. To minimize gas exposure, head upwards to avoid damage.
After eliminating most threats, grab the yellow rope and ascend to safety. Gaz and Soap assist in pulling you, playing as Captain Price, to safety. However, Price collapses to the ground, coughing uncontrollably.
