Which Difficulty Should I Choose On Cyberpunk 2077?

Cyberpunk 2077 is finally out and despite plenty of issues many players are really enjoying it.

Like many games, you'll have to choose a difficulty.

Cyberpunk has plenty to pick from but they really impact on the challenge of the game.

Here's what we know about the different difficulty settings and which you should choose.

Difficulty Options in Cyberpunk 2077

It doesn’t look like there are any Achievements or Trophies tied to difficulty!

This means , even for you completionists, the challenge level is entirely up to you.

Here are the difficulty levels, and how the game describes them.

Pick wherever feels most right for you play style:

Easy

The right choice for players who just want to sit back and enjoy the story. Combat will not pose a challenge.

Normal

Enemies will have all the tools at their disposal to take V on, but primarily only enemies at a higher level will prove a challenge.

Hard 

Combat will be a substantial challenge. The effective use of Perks, cyberware, combat gadgets and consumables will be essential to survival.

Very Hard

Buckle up for a serious challenge. Careful character development and clever use of items, game mechanics, and the environment will be necessary to help V make it on the streets on Night City.

This writer will be playing on Hard, but feel no shame in going for Easy if you want!
