Does Cyberpunk 2077 Have Multiplayer?

Unfortunately, not when the game launches.

When the game releases December 10, Cyberpunk 2077 will not have a multiplayer option available to players.

Though, the news isn’t all bad, so don’t worry! The mode is coming, albeit eventually.

CD Projekt Red has already told fans that a multiplayer mode for Cyberpunk 2077 is on the way for anybody who wants to team up with their buddies online.

You might just have to wait for late 2021, if not 2022 to play it...

What Will Cyberpunk 2077 Multiplayer Be Like?

We don’t know for certain but we have a few details so far for Cyberpunk multiplayer.

The reason behind the 2022 potential release date is because Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer will apparently be like its own AAA game release.

Potentially in the vein of a GTA Online!

This sounds pretty amazing, but obviously isn’t the result players would want with such a long wait time.

Though, an alternative perspective is that with such a long release date, CD Projekt Red will be putting the time in to make this section amazing!

The distant release date suggests the mode isn’t just going to be a quick throwaway, and that CD Projekt Red want to put in a lot of care and attention!
