Cyberpunk 2077's Wall-Running Has Been Scapped For 'Design Reasons', Devs Confirm


Cyberpunk 2077 launches on November 17, and it's undoubtedly the most anticipated game still to come in 2020.

Despite being an RPG, there are plenty of action elements and one such concept, wall-running, has been removed from the game entirely.

Cyberpunk 2077: Wall-Running Removed

As confirmed in an interview with Gamereactor, the game's level designer Max pears explained that "that [wall-running] is something that we removed due to design reasons. But there's still going to be a lot of flexibility in how you move, that's for sure."

Considering the potential for the ability to allow players to perhaps get to areas they otherwise shouldn't have been able to, or simply cause all sorts of glitching on in-game geometry, it's probably for the best.

That said, maybe it'll turn up in the game's post-launch multiplayer mode.
