Cyberpunk 2077 Map Could Be Twice As Big As GTA 5

Cyberpunk 2077 is finally arriving in the hands of gamers around the world after over a decade of development.

With games reaching astronomical sizes these days, it's tough to find a home for all of your games on the same system.

Cyberpunk is looking to end the year off with a bang, as the game looks to have an ample amount of content.

One aspect of the game that has been heavily analyzed is the map size.

The map has been closely looked upon, and it appears it may be twice as big as another open-world title we all love. 

Map Size

The map itself was estimated in size by YouTuber EdgeRunner Cold.

They used coordinates from the game's photo mode trailer which was posted recently.

Using these coordinates, they were able to pinpoint where certain locations are; along with estimating the overall size of the map.

Towards the end of the video, EdgeRunner Cold pulled up the maps of The Witcher 3 and GTA 5.

They concluded that from their work, they believe that Cyberpunk's map is around twice the size of GTA 5's.

This will be amazing if it pans out to be true, and we hope this map isn't filled with empty space like other open-world titles we have seen!
