Devil Replaces Kioshima in EnVy CS Lineup

In an official statement released by Team EnVyUs, it has been announced that Timothée "DEVIL" Démolon will become the newest member of EnVy CS, replacing Fabien "Kioshima" Fiey with immediate effect.

The roster change follows a series of lackluster performances by Team EnVyUs, which has seen the all-star French squad struggle to match their successful 2015 season, in which they secured 7 championships and 11 Grand Final appearances.

The decision to recruit the services of DEVIL seems to stem from an ongoing issue within EnVy’s team chemistry and commitment, with Nathan 'NbK' Schmitt stating;

“I have been working with Kio for one year and a half, and have shared a lot of good moments with him. He is a great person and has room to evolve in many ways in CS. Yet the work he has put during the past months with the team and individually hasn't been up to our expectations, and it led to this decision. I wish him best of luck for the future, and hope he will bounce back from this experience!”

Kioshima, who will be placed on the bench until a deal can be reached with another organisation, also somewhat agreed with the decision, as he revealed in his personal announcement;

Our cohesion became really bad, the comunnication between players became even worst, we basically lost our soul. I personally found really hard to work in those conditions and couldn't make it through, my point of view is that I can't work that much hours with people you can't communicate with properly or who don't entirely respect you. So there it is, even after everything happened, I still wish them a good future and why not having the boost they needed by bringing a new player.”

The roster change also arrives ahead of the MLG Major, where EnVy will be looking to defend their title of "Major Champions", and although DEVIL will undoubtedly be feeling the pressure to perform, Team EnVyUs already have the upmost confidence in him, as they stated;

"Démolon is regarded as one of the emerging young talents in the French Counter-Strike scene. He has helped LDLC.White to 3 titles and 6 Grand Final appearances within the last 10 months including a recent championship win at ASUS ROG Assembly Winter in Helsinki, Finland. Démolon brings explosive rifling to an EnVy CS:GO lineup who is known for their precision aim and fragging ability."

EnVy Managing Director, Mike "Hastr0" Rufail also said the following:

"Our team works very hard to maintain the pedigree we have developed as defending major champions. The recent results have not been what we have come to expect and what we are working towards. It is always a last resort for us to make a roster change, but in this case, we believed it was necessary in order to regain the momentum we had going into the last major of 2015. We are looking forward to working with DEVIL and watching him make his name recognized on the forefront of professional CS:GO and esports in general."

Devil will make his debut in the ESL Pro League against G2 eSports tomorrow.
