CS:GO Masters Update


We’re delighted to bring you an exciting announcement regarding the Gfinity Masters events for 2015 and the first confirmed details of teams & talent for our first CS:GO event on March 20th/21st/22nd. Our first announcement relates to the prizepools for Masters events, with each of the four events now featuring an increased prizepool of $50,000. The increased prizepool will be split as follows:1st: $25,000 2nd: $15,000 3rd: $7,000 4th: $3,000 The tournament format of the CS:GO Masters have now been updated after consultation with key members of the CS:GO community.

  • 8 teams per event
  • Each event will now utilise the GSL group format
  • Matches at the group/semi-final stages will best-of-three series, with the Grand Final contested as a best-of-five series.

With our CS:GO Spring Masters I event less than a month away, let’s find out who will be competing at the first event at the brand new Gfinity Arena in London:With a whole host of prestigious teams set to compete across the course of season, we needed to get in an equally prestigious Counter-Strike legend to host proceedings. As a result, we are delighted to announce that Scott ‘SirScoots’ Smith has been signed up to host each of our CS:GO events in 2015. More details on who will be joining him on our casting and analyst team will be released shortly.
