Allu Recruited by NiP

Ninjas in Pyjamas have announced the recruitment of a fifth player. The Swedish CS:GO team announced on February 24th they had officially signed Finnish sniper Aleksi “Allu” Jalli as a member on a trial basis.

On Feb. 13 NiP advised they were seeking a replacement for Mikail “Maikelele” Bill, but Bill would remain under contract with the team for the time being.

Bill replaced Robin “Fifflaren” Johansson late last year and while results started positive, an early elimination from Inferno Online Stockholm’s Pantamera event raised some concerns for the team. The decision also created doubt and criticism from fans since Bill had played a pivotal role in lifting the team out of an extended slump.

After the announcement of try outs, Marcus “Delpan” Larsson and Jalli were both given trials with NiP, but ultimately Jalli was chosen as the best fit for the team. Jalli, an AWPer formerly part of 3DMAX’s line up, will now practice with NiP for the upcoming ESL One tournament in Katowice.

Emil ”HeatoN” Christensen, owner of NiP, has expressed his confidence in the new addition. Bootcamp has started at the NiP mansion in Halmstad as the team prepares for ESL.

After Bill’s sudden replacement, the question remains whether or not Jalli will be kept on the roster if team performance is poor at the upcoming event.
