Crysis Remastered is coming to Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Crytek streamed some Switch gameplay recently in a developer broadcast.
Here's what we know about the Switch version of Crysis Remastered.
Crysis Remastered Resolution And Framerate
Crytek revealed in a developer stream that Crysis Remastered will run at 720p on the Switch in docked mode, though this can scale to 900p due to dynamic resolution.
Whereas handheld mode will run between 540-720p.
When docked and in handheld mode, Crysis will run at 30fps.
The stream showed about 30 minutes of gameplay, see below.
They also stated that the switch version supports FXAA effects but unfortunately it won't have ray-tracing - a highly anticipated feature (see here for more about ray-tracing).
Some of the enhancements coming Crysis Remastered on the Switch include:
- High-quality Textures
- Global Illumination
- Vegetation Bending
- Optimized Dynamic Lighting
- Dynamic Resolution
- Gyro Aiming
- Motion Blur
- And More
Most fans will likely pick up the game on PC or console but for those without either or looking for something on the go, the Switch could be a solid option.
