Looking at the latest cryptocurrency prices today on August 6, the total market cap is $1,661,007,431,708, marking a 5.11% increase from yesterday.
After reaching a peak in May 2021, the cryptocurrency market saw a steady decline, with bitcoin dropping below $30,000 in mid-July, only to bounce back dramatically towards the end of the month.
However, after Amazon dismissed claims it would soon accept bitcoin, this price dropped before once again rebounding. Bitcoin ended the month at just under $42,000.
