Heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury is now a Floki Inu ambassador, after sharing an Instagram post promoting the coin.

Fury, who has 5.3m Instagram followers, posted an image of himself wearing a Viking helmet in reference to the token. The post currently has 87,000 likes and 1,200 comments.

According to the Floki Inu Twitter, Fury will also appear in the Floki Inu NFT game, Valhalla, and will even provide a voiceover for the play-to-earn title.

Floki and Fury Partner Up

Fury’s post, which is part of a paid partnership with FLOKI, included a caption that said:

I'm a BIG guy and always know a BIG thing when I see it.

The @RealFloki_Inu Community is doing it BIG!

The British boxer did not say whether he actually holds any Floki Inu himself, however.

Floki Inu gave further details about the partnership and its value on Twitter. “The partnership with Tyson Fury is strategic and send a strong, clear message about FLOKI’s intent to be everywhere,” it tweeted.

“Besides further legitimizing #FLOKI and positioning us as a dominant crypto force, this partnership will help push the $FLOKI brand mainstream to millions of boxing fans worldwide.”

Unlike most other cryptocurrencies, Floki Inu’s marketing leans into the more traditional streams. It recently launched a physical advertising campaign on the London Underground, for example.

Floki hodlers on r/OfficialFlokiInu reacted positively to the Gypsy King’s post, seeing it as a bullish sign for the token.

“The greatest boxer in the world endorsing the moon mission? LFG!” said one Redditor.

Floki Inu is priced at $0.000244 - down 17% in the last week and up 261% in the last 30 days. It previously spiked 15% in under an hour after an Elon Musk tweet about Vikings on the moon.
