Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time: Features And Abilities We Want To See Return

The next instalment in the Crash Bandicoot series will arrive this October, Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time!

Fans of Crash Bandicoot have been desperate for a new game since 2008, finally their prayers have been answered.

The game is one that many are attached to and it has a lot of sentimental value to them, so we all want to see it be the best it can be!

Below we list everything we would like to see come to the game which we had seen previously.

Returning Abilities

In Crash Bandicoot 3 we were able to unlock new special abilities and powers each time a boss was defeated, such as the body slam, death tornado spin and a favourite of many - the Wumpa Fruit Bazooka!

We would love to see this aspect make a return to Crash 4 in some way, as well as Crash's legendary motorbike!

Unlocking these abilities gave a feeling of accomplishment and felt like a reward for defeating bosses.

Difficulty

The first Crash Bandicoot game was a real challenge from start to finish.

As the games went on the developers levelled out the difficulty a bit more.

We would like to see some sort of difficulty system where players can choose how hard they want the game to be, giving seasoned fans the option for an intense experience if desired.

As well as catering to hardcore players, we still think the option for easier levels needs to be accessible for children and those just looking for some fun.

Easter Eggs/Secrets

One of the best things in the older versions of the game was all the hidden secrets.

From easter eggs to hidden warp rooms and more.

It gives people a real sense of achievement when they're able to uncover these things.

Also, including this in the game will bring the community closer together if they choose to share this information with each other.

Humour

Crash's cartoony aesthetic has always come across light-hearted and fun.

Over the years with voice-acting coming into the mix it's given the characters really quirky, larger than life personalities.

This is something many fans really see as a main aspect to the series.

It would be a shame for the game to lose a lot of its character and soul to try to fit in with other genres of today's games.

Luckily we expect things to stay the same in terms of humour from the trailer to event the name of the game 'It's About Time', literally acknowledging the fact fans have been long awaiting this.
