The Xbox Series X has now been released for over a week, and players all over the world are experiencing next-generation gaming.
The new consoles have been a hit thus far, and with titles such as Deathloop and Halo Infinite on the horizon, it is an exciting time.
One aspect that Microsoft keep relatively the same for Series X, was the controller.
The Xbox controller is iconic, and there isn't a lot of changes underneath the shell this year.
But, it appears to be a popular controller and looks to be getting Apple support soon.
Here's what we know!

Apple has noted that they are working with Microsoft to make the Series X/S controller compatible with Apple gaming.
This was originally spotted by MacRumors, the Apple support page for connecting wireless controllers noted the following:
Microsoft and Apple are working together to bring compatibility for the Xbox Series X controller to customers in a future update.
Along with the addition of this controller, Apple currently supports the following controllers:
- Xbox Wireless Controller with Bluetooth (Model 1708)
- Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2
- Xbox Adaptive Controller
- PlayStation DualShock 4 Wireless Controller
- Other MFi (Made for iOS) Bluetooth controllers might be supported
Whether or not the DualSense 5 controller becomes compatible is unknown as of now.
We will have to wait and see if Sony or Apple announce any plans going ahead.
But for now, we have to wait and see when this update is coming from Apple and Microsoft.
