Seth 'Scump' Abner has addressed some rumors that he was retiring from Call of Duty before Vanguard. The pro player claims that he hasn't had a great year, stating that the competitions have stressed him out, and he hasn't been winning as much as he used to. Surely the poor guy deserves some time off.
Although Vanguard is just a few months away, Scump has been sure and true to stay competitive. As a result, the pro will have played Call of Duty for an entire decade. Scump is known to have started competing in Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Is Scump Quitting Before Vanguard?
Scump in Call of Duty: Vanguard is here to stay. According to his recent tweet, he is aware of the rumors. H has decided to put an end to them once and for all. Scump is still a pro, regardless of some doubts about his talent.
The tweet, found by Dexerto, is as follows:
Not just Scump has had a bad year either; OpTic Gaming has also been struggling. The season wasn't its worst or its best, but it was certainly not what they had hoped for. Nevertheless, everyone has a bad year every now and then; OpTic Gaming is just having a rough year.
The pros usually decide when they quit and move on to a platform such as streaming, so let's hope Scump gets to choose when he leaves too.
