Best Whitley Warzone Loadout

Following numerous leaks, rumours and an untimely delay, Season 2 of Warzone Pacific is officially underway. Players are hoping Raven Software has addressed the issues before dropping into Caldera once again.

In addition to the arrival of Anna and the KG M40 assault rifle, the Whitley is the latest Light Machine Gun (LMG) to arrive within the ever-expanding arsenal of weaponry. Described as a "heavy long-range machine gun," the Whitley features a simplistic design based on the first LMGs that first appeared in warfare.

Despite its lack of mobility, the Whitley does feature the highest damage per shot compared to the rest of Vanguard's LMGs meaning a range of attachment combinations are viable.

With that said, find the best Whitley loadout for Warzone along with the best set of attachments to dominate the opposition on Caldera and Rebirth Island.

What Is the Best Whitley Loadout?

Having spent some time testing various combinations of attachments and Perks, we've found the very best Whitley Warzone loadout to use on Caldera and Rebirth Island. Rather than addressing its mobility, we've focussed on improving accuracy and damage output to excel in long-range encounters.

How to Unlock the Whitley

The Whitley once featured in the Season 2 Battle Pass and with a new season now underway, players must complete a challenge to unlock the LMG.

To get your hands on it, destroy three killstreaks with an LMG in a single match 15 times. This may seem like a time-consuming task jumping into Caldera Clash where UAVs often appear, it's relatively straightforward.

Best Whitley Warzone Attachments

It's highly likely that the Whitley will feature several attachments that already feature in other LMG builds. With mobility levels on the backburner, we've created a build that dominates long-range engagements in addition to mid-range gunfights against assault rifles armed with superior mobility.

  • Muzzle: G28 Compensator
  • Barrel: 20" Ragdoll RE2
  • Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
  • Stock: CGC R4
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: .30-06 120 Round Boxes
  • Ammunition: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Leather Grip
  • Perk: Sleight of Hand
  • Perk 2: Fully Loaded

This combination of attachments significantly improves levels of accuracy, especially the high recoil levels when firing for a continuous period of time. The Ragdoll barrel combined with the Lengthened ammunition does wonders to extend the range of the Whitley, creating a huge increase in versatility.

Overall, this build is one of many viable options in the current Warzone metagame. For those familiar with the Bren that dominated during Season 1, the Whitley is a suitable replacement and is likely to appear over the course of Season 2 as one of the very best guns to use.

Best Whitley Warzone Perks and Equipment

With the best attachments equipped onto the Whitley, we can find the best combination of Perks and Equipment to earn further advantages on the battlefield. Here are the very best Perks and Equipment to use alongside the Whitley.

  • EOD (Perk 1)
  • Overkill (Perk 2)
  • Combat Scout (Perk 3)

EOD provides an increase in explosive resistance which is ideal when coming under fire from enemy projectiles while Overkill enables you to equip a second primary weapon in the same loadout. We recommend Vanguard's MP40 when getting up close and personal with the enemy.

The third and final Perk is Combat Scout. When a target is hit, they will glow orange for a short period of time, allowing you to spot them through Caldera's greenery with ease.

  • Frag Grenade (Lethal)
  • Smoke Grenade (Tactical)

A perfectly cooked Frag Grenade is incredibly difficult to avoid and is capable of dealing a huge amount of damage to anyone standing close by. Due to a lack of mobility thanks to the Whitley, utilising a Smoke Grenade for additional cover or to disguise a potential ambush is a surefire way to bamboozle any nearby opposition.

Is The Whitley Good in Warzone?

After spending plenty of time mastering the Whitley, I can safely say that it's another great LMG to use in Warzone. The immense power combined with minimal damage drop-off makes it very difficult to beat and while it may not possess the mobility of the Bren, it's an ideal replacement. I would recommend ranking up the Whitley as fast as possible to make the most of this deadly weapon.
