Warzone World War 2 Map

At the beginning of June, it was reported that a brand-new Warzone map would be releasing alongside the launch of Call of Duty: WWII Vanguard, the next annual Call of Duty release expected to arrive in its usual Q4 slot.

Set in the Pacific, the map is said to be much larger than the current iteration of Verdansk, much to the excitement of players that have been requesting a larger map for some time.

Other than that, there have been little to no details surrounding the new map until now.

Notable Call of Duty leaker @DeclassifiedCOD uploaded the names of the POIs onto Twitter courtesy of a data-miner known as "Glitchy." According to the leak, there will be a total of 14 POIs on the new map reportedly set in the "Pacific theatre" of World War 2.

Here's a full list of the POIs that will be included in the next Warzone map:

  • Resort
  • Capital
  • Radio Station
  • Sub Pen
  • Farms
  • Airfield
  • Lagoon
  • Beachhead
  • Caldera
  • Mines
  • Village
  • Airstrip
  • Docks
  • Arsenal

Judging by the names of these POIs, the new map is going to feature a diverse range of areas and terrain for players to master in order to get the upper hand over the opposition. The idea of two kinds of airfields also sounds interesting. Could we see fighter planes added as vehicles? We will have to wait and see!
