RUMOUR: New Warzone map will support up to 250 players

The next Warzone update could see the map cater for up to 250 players, some media are reporting.

According to previous rumours, zombies will invade Verdansk, which will lead to the map being nuked.

RUMOUR: New Warzone map will support up to 250 players

The season 3 map is rumoured to arrive in April - bringing with it new locations, vehicles and more.

It follows a tweet from a Spanish Call of Duty fan account (as cited in GameByte), which fueled claims a new map is on the horizon.

Translated, the tweet reads: “The new warzone map is extremely large, so much so that it combines 23 dirty bomb maps. There will be more vehicles."

“Many of them have yet to make it to Black Ops Cold War. There is also talk that it will be played with 250 players,” the tweet says.

Earlier this year, YouTube Tom Henderson claimed that a new Ural Mountains map was being tested. These claims have not been confirmed by the developers.

It follows news last week, where notable Call of Duty leaker @DeclassifiedCOD posted a screenshot of what looks to be a part of the heavily-rumoured Zoo map.

Although the screenshot is taken from within Black Ops Cold War, Zoo is rumoured to be one of the several points of interest that will appear in the new map.
