Other than the immense rate of fire, the MG 82 is easily one of the very best LMGs to use in Warzone. Although mobility levels aren't the highest, you will rarely find yourself attempting to sprint around the map when attempting to tame the recoil.

The damage range isn't the highest either, but with a number of attachments capable of addressing this issue, the MG 82 can, and already has, found itself as the early frontrunner in the Season 4 metagame.

So what are the best attachments to equip?

This particular build shreds through any opposition that will stand in your way of a trip on board the victory helicopter.

  • Muzzle: Suppressor
  • Barrel: 16.4" Task Force
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Ammunition: 125 Rnd Speed Mag

The combination of muzzle and barrel will be familiar to players that are in tune to the metagame. Providing significant improvements to bullet velocity and damage range, the MG 82 becomes incredibly powerful in mid-range and long-distance duels, even against the likes of the CR-56 AMAX.

The Field Agent Grip gives a slight increase in movement speed and while it may not seem like a lot, it could be the difference between dodging an incoming wave of gunfire or being sent on a premature trip to the Gulag.

Best MG 82 Warzone Loadout

With the perfect set of attachments equipped, no MG 82 Warzone loadout is complete without a solid set of Perks and Equipment. In order to get the upper hand over any opposition you may encounter during a match, here are the best Perks and Equipment to use.

Secondary Weapon

  • Streetsweeper

When it comes to selecting a weapon that excels in close-quarters combat, there are many to choose from. While some may go for a submachine gun, we've gone with the Streetsweeper on this occasion thanks to its ease of control, deadly accuracy, and unmatched power when up close and personal with an opponent.

There are many variations of equipment that feature in the loadouts of Warzone players, but this particular combo, may seem a little unorthodox.

  • Lethal: Thermite
  • Tactical: Smoke Grenade

Thermite is the perfect piece of equipment to deal a prolonged dose of high damage to an opponent. The fire produced by the thermite is a sure-fire way of ensuring the enemy is low on health before the MG 82 can finish them of in just a few bullets.

Smoke Grenades are rarely used in Warzone, making them especially useful to get out of any sticky situations or to provide a wall of cover when attempting to move into safety.

Due to a lack of changes to the Perks, the vast majority of Warzone loadouts feature the same three because they are so strong. Here are the best ones to choose from.

  • Perk 1: EOD
  • Perk 2: Overkill
  • Perk 3: Amped

As always, EOD provides an increase in explosive resistance which is ideal if grenades are falling at your feet. Overkill enables you to select two primary weapons in the same loadout, meaning you can create the ultimate Warzone loadout capable of dealing with any kind of scenario.

The last Perk we selected is Amped. When equipped, Amped increases weapon swap speed, ideal if an enemy ambushes you at close-quarters where the MG 82 isn't exactly the best weapon of choice. Having the ability to quickly switch weapons is easily the best asset to posses when reaction times can often be the difference between life and death.
