The start of Season 1 for Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone Pacific is fast approaching, much to the excitement of players looking ahead to the first major content drop of the game's cycle and a new era of battle royale action. The new season will see new Operators join the roster alongside a range of new weaponry, and an all-new Battle Pass for players to work through.
Just like previous seasons, players will have to download an update before dropping into the action, and unlike some seasons that have featured hefty updates, early signs are pointing towards reduced download sizes thanks to clever optimisation. With that said, how big are the Season 1 updates for Warzone Pacific and Vanguard?
Call of Duty Vanguard Season 1 Update Size
The Season 1 update for Vanguard is beginning to roll out across all platforms. PlayStation players are the first to begin preloading, with the update being approximately 9-10 GB in size. Great news for those looking to maintain their hard drive space!
Warzone Pacific Season 1 Update Size
While Warzone players will be hoping for a small update to the battle royale, it's unlikely that it will be anywhere near the size of Vanguard's update considering the wealth of changes that are coming to the game. While no official information surrounding the Warzone update size has been revealed, players that are already getting the chance to preload the update have revealed that it will be around 45GB for PlayStation users.
For Xbox players, the Season 1 update will take up 41GB of space while PC players will need 65GB.
That's everything we know about the update sizes for Vanguard and Warzone Pacific. For more intel, check out all of the Operators appearing in the upcoming update.
