Season 4 of Warzone is in full swing and Call of Duty publisher Activision has released yet another high-resolution texture pack has been released for the popular battle royale. The texture pack is recommended for those equipped with 1440p displays and above to ensure the best graphical display when dropping into Verdansk and Rebirth Island. With many players wanting to make use of the immense power of the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X|S, the texture pack has been launched to further improve several visual details of Warzone, including the weapon arsenal and the roster of Operators.
In this article, find everything you need to know about Warzone's fifth texture pack and whether it is worth using even more hard drive space.
How To Download Warzone Texture Pack 5
When it comes to downloading a Warzone texture pack, the process is extremely simple. PS5 and Xbox Series X players will be greeted with an in-game prompt to download the texture pack when loading into the game. Once the download has been selected, you'll be taken to the PlayStation or Xbox Store where the download will begin.
For PS4 Pro players and those that don't receive the message, head into the in-game options and select the 'Game Installs' tab where a complete list of available downloads will appear. Select Texture Pack 5 and the download will get underway.
Is It Worth Downloading Warzone Texture Pack 5?
For those that want Warzone to look the best it can possibly be, then downloading Texture Pack 5 is certainly worth it. With improved visual fidelity across the entire game, everything from the smallest details in a weapon to one of the many buildings looks much better.
It's not just the buildings and weapon arsenal that look better than before. Those pesky birds that fly in the skies of Verdansk and Rebirth Island look a lot more like birds rather than enemy players dropping back into the action after winning their Gulag.
Warzone Texture Pack 5 Download Size
For PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, Texture Pack 5 comes in at just under 7GB, meaning it shouldn't take too long to download and apply the visual improvements. While Activision continues to release the texture packs, VGC has reported that Raven Software is working on an all-new version of Warzone for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S but no details on its progression were revealed. Until then, we can expect these texture packs to be released on a regular basis.
