How to unlock Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle

Thanks to a recent update, all you need to do is load into Warzone and select it as part of a loadout. We recommend using a few double weapon XP tokens to unlock all of the attachments as fast as possible.

Best Gorenko Warzone attachments

The Gorenko has plenty of power to become one of the strongest snipers in the entire battle royale. With that said, these are the attachments you should select:

  • Muzzle: Mercury Silencer
  • Barrel: 420mm Empress
  • Optic: 1913 Variable 4-8x
  • Stock: Reinforced Stock
  • Underbarrel: Bipod
  • Magazine: 13mm AM 10 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: FMJ Rounds
  • Rear Grip: Stippled Grip
  • Perk: Focus
  • Perk 2: On Hand

Having the likes of the Mercury Silencer and Empress barrel equipped makes the Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle in Warzone a more balanced weapon that still does plenty of damage.

The ten-round magazine is arguably the highlight of the build. Having a few extra bullets to deal with more than one opponent makes all the difference.

Best Gorenko Warzone perks and equipment

Once the best Warzone Gorenko attachments are ready for battle, taking some time to select a combination of perks and equipment to suit your style of play also has its benefits. Here's a selection we recommend

Perks

  • EOD (Perk 1)
  • Overkill (Perk 2)
  • Amped (Perk 3)

Kicking things off is EOD. The increased explosive resistance provides some additional protection from any incoming grenades. Up next is Overkill which gives you the ability to use two primary weapons in the same category. In this case, we recommend the Grau 5.56 assault rifle.

Last but not least is Amped. The faster weapon swap means you can switch between the Gorenko and Grau quickly which is extremely useful if you see a target in the distance.

Equipment

  • Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor
  • Lethal: Frag Grenade

While it was nerfed recently, the Heartbeat Sensor is still a must-have for sniper players since it lets you see where nearby players are hiding, even if it's not as overpowered as it was before.

The Frag Grenade is a handy way to deal some additional damage, whether it's by cooking it to perfection or just using it as a deterrent to allowing you to retreat to safety.

Is the Gorenko good in Warzone?

In Season 5 of Warzone, the Gorenko is up there as one of the very best Warzone sniper rifles to use. Once you get to grips with the semi-automatic firing and its kick, it's capable of eliminating opponents in a flash. I recommend using it before it receives a nerf!
