How to Unlock Akimbo Top Break

Players can get their hands on one Top Break by reaching Level 12 in Warzone or Vanguard. Unlocking the Akimbo Weapon Perk will take a bit longer so we recommend using a Double Weapon XP Token to get two Top Breaks as fast as possible.

Apart from the obvious inclusion of Akimbo, we've managed to find a range of unbeatable attachments that provide significant increases in damage and fire rate in order to deal with any close-range resistance with ease.

This combination of attachments guarantees plenty of damage output alongside incredible accuracy when firing the Top Breaks from the hip. The M1929 Silencer keeps the powerful shots concealed from the minimap which can be handy in busy areas of Caldera. The rest of the loadout focuses on sprint to fire time, which can often make the difference when reacting to an enemy that's seemingly appeared out of thin air.

Double Time is a no-brainer when it comes to maximising performance with the Akimbo Top Break. The additional Tactical Sprint is ideal for ducking in and out of buildings to bamboozle the enemy before landing the shots to send them to the Gulag. With plenty of moving around, Ghost will keep your location hidden from any Spy Planes while Amped will provide an increase in weapon swap speed which is perfect to react quickly to any nearby threats.

Equipment

This combination of equipment has withstood the test of time despite Raven Software nerfing the Heartbeat Sensor. It's still a great tool to track down any nearby opposition while the Semtex is perfect for breaking armour before finishing the kill with the Top Breaks.

Having used them in a number of Vanguard Royale matches, I can safely say that the Akimbo Top Breaks are incredibly good and are the best secondary weapons to go with any loadout thanks to their damage output at close range.
