A total of sixteen maps will be available to play in Vanguard's core multiplayer modes while four maps will feature as part of Champion Hill, a brand-new mode described to be a hybrid between Gunfight and the closing stages of a battle royale match.

Sixteen maps is a huge increase in comparison to the number of maps that have launched with previous Call of Duty titles. Black Ops Cold War launched with only eight maps for multiplayer, meaning players will have double the amount of 6v6 battlefields to experience.

Details on map design and their settings have yet to be revealed but it's certain that players will have a huge choice of multiplayer maps to play when Vanguard releases on November 5th.
