The battle royale genre has skyrocketed in popularity over the past five years and shows no signs of slowing down. For Call of Duty players wanting to get their battle royale fix, Warzone has been the place to go since it was released in March 2020 and with the release of Vanguard fast approaching, changes are on the horizon.
As Q4 of 2021 approaches and the hotly anticipated launch of Vanguard nears, the latest instalment in the first-person shooter franchise, the community is beginning to wonder whether the game will feature BR in a similar way to Black Ops Cold War and 2019's Modern Warfare. So, will Call of Duty: Vanguard feature a battle royale?
Does Call of Duty: Vanguard Have Battle Royale?
While Vanguard won't have its very own battle royale title, Warzone will undergo some drastic changes in order to integrate the new release into the game. A brand-new map 30% larger than Verdansk featuring a brand-new weapon arsenal, new vehicles, and more are expected to arrive, according to rumours.
It's likely that the increase in map size is to accommodate for new vehicle mechanics, meaning we could well see fighter planes and tanks patrolling the streets in the not-too-distant future.
When Will Vanguard Integrate Into Warzone?
The Vanguard weapon arsenal and the new map is expected to arrive into Warzone shortly after the game releases on November 5th, meaning there will be plenty of brand-new content for Call of Duty fans to get their teeth stuck into! As we get closer to the launch of Vanguard, it's likely that more information surrounding the new content will be revealed so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the latest developments.
